Mike has a proven covert and overt investigation track record in many areas of the investigation industry. Training and practical experience in the New Zealand Police provided Mike with a solid understanding of a wide range of investigative techniques and human behavioural concepts. His management of complex criminal and civil cases results in a high level of client satisfaction, including countless successful criminal prosecutions and dismissals.
Mike is a member of the ACFE, The New Zealand Institute of Professional Investigators, Council of International Investigators, and World Association of Detectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct and manage civil, criminal & fraud, and personal investigations for a wide range of clients including corporations, law firms and private domestic clients.
- Meet and liaise with clients and prepare investigation plans including the briefing of agents.
- Conduct covert enquiries in sensitive situations, including the use of undercover and subterfuge methods.
- Conduct covert surveillance, both as an individual and as part of a surveillance team.
- Locating missing persons, estranged persons, witnesses, and respondents.
- Interview complainants, witnesses and offenders.
- Intelligence gathering including the use of informants.
- Preparation of prosecution/complaint files for submitting to Police and other prosecuting agencies on behalf of clients.
